Welcome to the Ridgeway Methodist Pre-School web site. We are a friendly organisation dedicated to giving children the best start in life. We cater for children from age 2 years to school age. Every week we hold five morning sessions and lunch clubs (for which children should bring a packed lunch) for children aged 2 to school age.

Ridgeway Methodist Pre-school began in 1965, and in 2005 celebrated its 40th anniversary. It began after a similar Pre-school was set up at Woodford Methodist Church. Both of these were set up because of a need for childcare in the Plympton area. Since it was set up Ridgeway has had 3 supervisors and has looked after hundreds of children, many of whom still recognise and say hello to their old teachers.

Our pre-school can care for children of all backgrounds including those with special needs. We are registered with the Pre-school Learning Alliance, City of Plymouth's All Children First 0-14+.
