Just browsing looking at Methodist Websites to start one of our own and spotted yours. I worshipped at Ridgeway and Woodford from 1945 to 1971 when the family moved to London with the RN. My wife was Lena Trevithick who often sang solos at both churches. We joined Wealdstone Methodist Church in 1971 and have been regular ever since. I have been a Steward twice and am currently Secretary. I have fond memories of Ridgeway and Woodford. I tried to visit Plympton last year but found Ridgeway to be a one-way from the other direction.

It was wonderful meeting Revd John Haley and family and sharing the evening with us was very short but very special, the fellowship was great we would like to hear more from you, the members are saying that the word you shared was the right one at the time. I work with Mercy Ships and just wanted to send you my personal thanks for the effort your are making to help those who are poor. Great to see the website. What a fabulous new church. I used to worship at Ridgeway when it was in the old building and I have many fond memories. As one of the descendents of the Ridgeways from Devon County and the Mayor of Exeter I am always looking for sites showing the family name. Also as a Christian I am proud to see the Ridgeway name extended towards the ministry of Christ. God bless all of you.
