I liked it a lot and I liked the bit when you played the organ.

I think that the church visit was quite interesting and I learned lots about your church, that you had a prayer book so if someone wanted you to pray for someone that needed help you could write there name in the prayer book and why they needed help and in the sacrament meeting, you would pray to God that he would help them and I thought that was very nice. My favourite part of the visit was hearing the reverend playing the organ it was very nice. Your church is quite different to the church I go to.

I liked the big organ. I think the bronze colour was pretty and I liked it when he played the organ.

I enjoyed answering the questions that the man asked us. I learnt that it was a much smaller room than St Marys Church and the organs made a beauitiful noise and was played nicely. They had a bowl there that people put sachets in and people put money in them and the money goes to the poor. People go there to pray to God, to get married and to get baptised.

I liked the talk that he did, it was very interesting.

I enjoyed Ridgeway Methodist Church because the man tried to speak to everyone and he made us feel welcome. I really liked our trip to the church.

I think the visit was quite interesting because the organ was great. I enjoyed looking at the plate and golden cup. I liked it when they read out some of the Bible.

I liked it when he played the organ. It was very pretty. I learnt that the church has no altar instead it has a table.

My favourite part of going to the Ridgeway Methodist was getting to know that some churches don't have the same things. Like this church does not have an altar.
68 2 May 2006 Callum Hall Plymouth, United Kingdom United Kingdom
It was very interesting when I saw all of the things in side. I thought it was very small.

I enjoyed visiting Ridgeway Methodist church I had not been there before and it was very nice to see it. I will try now every Sunday to come to the church. I thought it was fun when we looked at things in the church and people came up and read things from the Bible. I have never been to a modern church before our class's visit. I thought the artificial organs were pretty and the flags looked realy impressive.

Dear Sir, thank you for showing us around. It was very interesting. I liked the sound that came out of the organ. It must have taken ages to learn. I wish I could go again.

My favourite part of visiting the Ridgeway Methodist Church was when people went and read the Bible and when people said what they could see.

"Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises." Leap and clap your hand for God has made this day for his love and good purpose, my heart will joy and sing to him like this psalm verse right now. Help that many may find Jesus Christ this last time. Pray for blessed revival soon. Thanks and bless. Keijo, Sweden

What a website. So nice to visit and to keep an update of John, Janet and family's activities. They are certainly missed in St Agnes, Cornwall but it is nice to know their good work is appreciated at Ridgeway.

Hello to John and his friend that came for Sunday lunch in the restaurant at the Rashleigh Inn at Polkerris, this is the lovely waitress Louise that served you! I'm very sorry I didnt come along to the service in Tywardreath that evening, it would have been really nice to see what you do. Nice website, been having a proper look around and learning a lot from it. Anyway the really nice man John asked me to leave a comment so here it is. Lovely to meet you. Louise.

Just surfing the net and came upon your site. Hangman is very addictive: must go to bed now it is nearly midnight. Will start earlier next time! Good wishes from us and Leaside Church (URC-Methodist) in Ware, Hertfordshire.

I visit a large number of church websites as part of my role at Viz-A-Viz Ministries, and can honestly say that yours is certainly one of the best!

Good site!

I was delighted to find your website, particularly the section on church history, as my husband is the gt-gt-gt-grandson of Peter Williams and Grace Shea. I knew of their connections with Methodism but hadn't realized how instrumental they were in its establishment in Ridgeway. Glad to see it is still flourishing!

As accompanist to the Maesteg Gleemen MVC,a member of John's congregation during his stay in Barry, but mostly as a friend who is very much a novice on a computer keyboard, I am amazed, not to say INSPIRED by visiting this website. John and his remarkable family helped me through sad days, and welcomed me on glad days, and I'm sure the people of Ridgeway Methodist Church are counting their blessings at the news that the Haley family will be with them for at least the next four years. See you all on Nov 19th, God Bless.

Hello, Greetings from sunny, well at the moment it's still rather dark, Norway. I've just had an e-mail from John telling me that it is wet in Plymouth. I thought you would want to know that today will be the 21st consecutive sunny day in Kristiansand - quite boring! I would write this in Norwegian but then I would not understand what I was writing. I hope you all are keeping well, and being continually filled and re-filled with the Holy Spirit. God bless you all, Simon. P.S. Yes, it IS a great web-site!
